On Jan. 31, it was announced that legendary country duo, Bellamy Brothers will be going on an international tour. This is in addition to their usual 150 concert dates in the United States. They are expected to tour in Sri Lanka, India, Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Australia, as well as New Caledonia.
"We head over to Sri Lanka and India next week," said David Bellamy in a press statement. "We've toured in over 50 countries throughout our career but performing in these two regions is new territory for us."
Howard Bellamy added, "This is shaping up to be one of our biggest international years to date. Good thing we're used to the jet lag. We actually have a new song we're recording now called 'Jet Lag Journey.'"
The country duo is planning on releasing new music, in addition to these tour stops at the international level.
Throughout their musical career, which spans nearly four decades, the multi-platinum-selling Bellamy Brothers have charted 15 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country charts.
