Country Bookshelf in Bozeman hosts author event with Natalie Brown

First-time novelist and Montana State University graduate Natalie Brown will be reading and signing her book, The Lovebird, at Country Bookshelf in Bozeman on June 18th at 7 pm.

Brown grew up in California and her novel's 18-year old heroine, Margie Fitzgerald, goes from Southern California to the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana in this contemporary coming of age story.

Margie, an animal rights activist, flees an affair and federal prosecution in California, leaves her ailing father and escapes to the reservation in Montana, where she meets a variety of characters and gains some understanding about her place in the world.

The topic and treatment will appeal to the romance reader who is sympathetic to the plight of idealistic young ladies.
