Duluth, MN Country artist and National Spokesperson for young people in foster care, along with Today’s Best Country, B105 Radio, invites Northlanders to walk across the Ariel Lift Bridge to raise awareness for young people in foster care. Jimmy Wayne grew up with a foster family and speaks from personal experience about the importance of supporting foster youth, especially those who are forced to make it on their own when they turn 18 years old and support from the foster care system is cut off.

Jimmy Wayne’s trek will begin on the sidewalk of South Lake Avenue, just outside the Suites Hotel in Duluth’s Canal Park, on Wednesday, June 23, at 10:30a and continue across the Ariel Lift Bridge. It is FREE to join in the walk and the public is encouraged to participate. Please gather outside the Suites Hotel in Canal Park at 10:00a.

Jimmy Wayne is in Duluth, as the opening act for Randy Houser at Grandma’s Sports Garden Wednesday evening.
