Popular Shania Twain has a deep and abiding love for horses and is more than willing to share this fact with her fans and others that are interested. As published on Dec.3 by source Las Vegas Sun, the country and pop singer teamed up with the new cable horse sports TV network HRTV to film an uplifting and moving program about her love for horses. HRTV viewers and Vegas DeLuxe readers are now able to get an advance viewing of Twain’s filmed segment that also features Bo Derek before the interview actually airs on HRTV.com.
Twain readily admits that it takes a lot of internal concentration to keep the horses calm while she is on stage, singing and maintaining her performance ease. The program she is talking about is her Las Vegas show Still the One at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace.
According to HRTV’s Molly McGill, The station first realized that Twain had horses in her show when they viewed a commercial advertising the Still the One show. The short piece showed the bellman of Caesars Palace leading Twain’s horse through the lobby when she checked in.
We wanted to show a side of Shania that all horse lovers could relate to: There is nothing more special than the connection a girl and her horse can have.
Back in May, HRTV caught an interview with Twain and her trainer, Ramon Becerra. The story took on a life of its own and they contacted Bo Derek, who also agreed to do an interview. From then on, everyone leant a hand and was most gracious throughout the editing process and helping with photos, videos and answering questions.
The horse filming sequences brought Twain and the TV crews to Derek’s California home. The horses brought magic to the filming.
HRTV can be viewed on AT&T, Verizon, Comcast and Dish Network.
