The muscle cars roll into town this Friday, Sept. 6, for the 25th annual Adirondack Nationals Car show, and this year "The Count" will be among the crowds of car enthusiasts. Danny Koker, owner of Count’s Kustoms in Las Vegas, has achieved celebrity status as the resident auto expert on the popular History Channel show “Pawn Stars.” and he has just completed the first season of his own show “Counting Cars.”
Registration for the Adirondack Nationals Car Show begins 7 a.m. Friday at The Fort William Henry Resort and Conference Center on Canada Street. Adult admission for the weekend is $10; children under 12 are free. Friday and Saturday night, the show becomes mobile as the hot rods, trucks, muscle cars and customs cruise along Canada Street and Beach Road from 7 to 10 p.m. in a parade of revving engines and exhaust fumes. Saturday’s parade is followed by fireworks over the lake.
Venders will be set up in the Beach Road parking lot (across from the big boats) all weekend. Koker and Count’s Kustoms General Manager Kevin Mack will be appearing at the show on Saturday, Sept. 7. Visit the Adirondack Nationals website for a complete schedule of events.
