As New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San José are getting ready to welcome 2012, cities around the world are also gearing up for New Year’s Eve celebrations. For those who may not want to go out this New Year’s Eve celebrating at home is a good option. Check out these ideas for dining at home. You can also watch New Year’s Eve celebrations at home or abroad (such as London or Paris) on TV. Maybe, you like to watch the movie, New Year’s Eve, a romantic comedy filmed in 2011.
It is exciting to celebrate New Year’s Eve in another country. This year we will be celebrating New Year's Eve in Guatemala. The countdown is already on here in Guatemala. Guatemalan's love to celebrate New Year's Eve. New Year's Day is one the major Guatemalan National Holidays and Events. National holidays are not the only time for celebrations in Guatemala. In fact there are over 370 fiestas celebrated throughout the year. With such love for celebrations it is not surprising that New Year's Eve celebrations are big in Guatemala.
Food is an important a part of Guatemalan New Year's Eve celebrations. Whenever there is a celebration in Guatemala it always centers on food. Firecrackers and fireworks are also always part of most events. December is a time when Guatemalans celebrate with fireworks. Both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve in Guatemala is always celebrated with lots of fireworks.
Whatever, your New Year's Eve plans include the old year is winding down. As you get ready to toast the arrival of a New Year, now is the time to start thinking of New Year’s resolutions.
