Does your equestrian center, horse barn or home need some spring sprucing?
The Madison Central Library is having a huge liquidation sale, and many of the used items they’re offering could be ideal for an office, viewing room or workshop in a horse barn or other working facility.
Working with the Madison Environmental Group, library staffers are hoping to sell as many salvageable items as possible and minimize local landfill impact. The long list of library items offered on Craig’s List includes:
- bulletin board
- carpeting
- CD racks
- ceiling tiles
- chalkboards
- door handles
- drinking fountains
- electric fan
- light fixtures
- lockers
- map cases
- metal cabinets
- metal coat rack
- metal desk
- metal shelving
- mirror
- room dividers
- slate countertops
- table tops
- upholstered chairs
- wall safe
- water heater
- wood cabinets
- wood desk
- and more.
With items priced from $5 to $50, the Madison Central Library’s liquidation sale is offering everything but the kitchen sink. Oh, wait. They’re selling that too. It’s just $5. Raw materials, such as wood and slate, are also available.
Purchasers will have to make appointments to remove and carry off all merchandise and building supplies, beginning the week of February 6th.
The Madison Central Library location is at 201 W. Mifflin St., in Madison. Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST (Monday through Thursday), 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Fridays) and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturdays). The facility is closed on Sundays.
