There is a lot of talk going around about "Batman vs. Superman" that will hit theaters in 2015, but there is a lot of talk happening right now and it has nothing to do with either of those characters. Batman-News reported on Nov. 1, 2013, that the discussion isn't on Superman or Batman, but on Wonder Woman and possibly being played by Jaime Alexander.
During a recent talk panel, "Thor" star Jaime Alexander said that she has been in talks with Warner Bros. for a role in "Batman vs. Superman." The part that is up for grabs is one that calls for an "actress in their late 20s who is both tall and possesses physicality to play Bruce Wayne's love interest."
While that does seem intriguing, there are rumors that this unknown role for Alexander could end up being that of Wonder Woman.
Once the rumors started flying around of "Batman vs. Superman" introducing Wonder Woman, Alexander decided to play them up. On Twitter, a user said he had "hope the rumours(sic) are true" and posted a photoshopped pic of Alexander as Wonder Woman.
Alexander simply responded with "Wowza! ;)"
There is no telling just yet if she will be Wonder Woman in "Batman vs. Superman," but it is fun to talk about.
The film will star Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck and hit theaters on July 17, 2015. Some scenes have already been filmed and they include a football game between Gotham City University and Metropolis State University.
