Singles on the scene often turn to online dating sites such as the CougarLife dating website. Many internet dating websites throw around the word cougar to refer to female single ladies looking for a date when describing some women. But what exactly does the word cougar mean when used in reference to a single woman? The Urban Dictionary defines cougar:

An attractive woman in her 30's or 40's who is on the hunt once again. She may be found in the usual hunting grounds: nightclubs, bars, beaches, etc. She will not play the usual B.S. games that women in their early twenties participate in. End state, she will be going for the kill, just like you

If the Material Girl accepts the offer, her song may influence other cougars to take on the dating scene with a vengeance.  The president of CougarLife shares why she feels Madonna is their ideal candidate for this marketing campaign:

"To us, Madonna is without a doubt the queen of Cougars, and therefore, we at CougarLife are extremely interested in exploring a unique partnership with you."
