Costco labels and sells The Holy Bible as “fiction”

One flabbergasted minister interviewed in the accompanying video finds the Holy Bible sold under the genre of fiction at Costco, and it's sparking many opinions and questions. Whether you think it was categorized correctly or not, there is overwhelming evidence to the Bible's authenticity and validity. It is by far the most highly documented work of ancient text in the known world.

If one is to look at the historical value of the Bible alone, that is enough to warrant a different labeling, unless history is somehow subject to debate now that we've become so intellectual in the 21st century. Other historical works validate the Bible as well as physical evidence for places and time lines.

There will be those who contend that the Bible is fiction even when presented with the historical value and it's documentation, picking and choosing what they decide is to be looked upon by the public as truth. Darwin's Origin of Species, which presents the theory of evolution, would never be labeled in such a category as fiction, although a theoretical proposition. However, the Holy Bible, true and verified to at least 4,000 years of history, is deemed questionable. For those folks wishing to minimize the Bible, truth is subjective. Therefore, what they did last week must surely be up for debate. Or is it?

Christians are flabbergasted and tired of the numerous weak and ridiculous attempts to snuff out the word of God and even Christianity entirely; however, God said, “But the word of the Lord endures forever. Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.” 1 Peter 1:25

Perhaps the idea that the gospel is being heard as the truth it is is what really scares them. All attempts to get rid of the word of God has failed since it's conception, and will continue to fail. It is important for Christians to be as diligent as this minister and correct wrongs when they arise against the Word of God and even Christianity itself. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14
