Electronic music superstars and Southern California favorites, Cosmic Gate, will be at Sutra in Costa Mesa this Wednesday for a very special performance. The duo consisting of Nic Chagall and Bossi, were single handedly responsible for the Mad Hatter’s stage, at last month’s Beyond Wonderland festival, to suffer from capacity issues. As festival- goers rushed into the building to watch their set the doors were closed to follow capacity guidelines, locking thousands of fans out. Although the doors were eventually opened to allow the music to be heard outside, many were still left disappointed. This is the chance, for some of those who were locked out, to see the amazing Cosmic Gate perform.
Some of Cosmic Gate’s recent endeavors include the January release of their Back 2 the Future album, which includes remixes of their classics from 1999-2003, including songs like “Fire Wire,” “Back to Earth,” and “Exploration of Space.” And Cosmic Gate was one of the contributing artists on ASOT 500 Limited Edition 5 CD album.
