The Crosby Lady Cougars took time out from spring break to take to the softball diamond to face the Humble Lady Wildcats Tuesday afternoon. Jennifer Kilson, the Crosby fireballing right hander tamed the Humble offense on just one; that being of the infield variety.

The Lady Cougars picked up another run in the home half of the second on a bases loaded walk to pinch hitter Tayloer Cole before finishing off Humble in the fourth with another seven run outburst.
Kaitlyn Stebelton got things started in Crosby's fina at bat with an infield single and ended Humble's day with an rbi into right centerfield. In between, the Lady Cougars picked up five two out hits including back to back to back doubles from Ariel Clogston, Walker and Pharis. Clogston, Crosby's catcher cleared the bases with a two run double into straight away centerfield that just missed leaving the park.
Every Crosby batter including Bailey Lapoint and KaemoAlonzo who pinch hit for right fielder Jamie Hofmann reached base during the win.
Hofmann made the defensive play of the game in second as she threw the Humble baserunner out at first to end the inning.
Walker and Stebelton collected three hits a piece in the Lady Cougars 16 hit attack. Walker also recorded a team high three rbi's and three runs scored.
