Cory Monteith will miss final two episodes of ‘Glee’ while in rehab

Cory Monteith has officially announced that he has checked himself into rehab to deal with his substance addiction. He has dealt with this issue since he was very young, with his first rehab visit when he was just 19. How is this going to affect his role as Finn Hudson on the hit Fox series, “Glee?” It looks like the actor will be missing from the last two episodes of season four of the show, according to Deadline as posted on March 31.

There are still two more episodes left to film of season four. However, the show must go on and that means that filming will continue without Monteith. His absence will definitely be felt, but there will be an explanation coming soon as to why Finn has suddenly disappeared.

The 30-year-old star has all the support he needs from "Glee" co-star and current girlfriend, Lea Michele. She has said that she will stand by her man through this and is proud of the important decision he made to get help in rehab. He also has the love and support from the series that gave his career a big boost.

"Cory is a beloved member of the 'Glee' family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment," they said in a recent statement. "Everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return."

What do you think of Cory Monteith's decision to enter rehab again? Do you think this will affect the season four finale of “Glee?”
