The “Glee” star who died last summer, was in movies such as “Monte Carlo,” “Sisters and Brothers,” and “Final Destination 3.”
After the Oscars memorial was over “Glee” fans immediately took to social networking sites to call out the academy for not mentioning Cory Monteith during the tribute.
“Very disappointed that Cory Monteith didn’t get honored at the Oscars,” wrote one fan. “Pretty disappointed that Cory Monteith wasn’t included in the goodbye portion of the Oscars,” said another fan.
Cory died of a heroin overdose, much like actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was seen in the final photo, which was shown the longest.
The memorial tribute ended with Bette Midler singing “Wind Beneath My Wings,” but fans of Monteith are not happy about the snub.
