When it comes to driving on the Autobahn, speed is king and fast cars rule the land. Hitting top speed in a Corvette Z06, this enthusiast maxed out the speedometer at 216 miles per hour all while handling a camera. Handling and stability at these speeds is uncanny, as the driver is able to hold the camera with one hand and race with the other. There's not many cars out there that can hang with the Corvette Z06 when it comes to bang for buck performance. Looking for a little more Corvette performance? Slap on an intake, free up the exhaust, and get a tune for an instant 50 ponies to the rear wheels. For those of us seeking the ultimate in performance, Lingenfelter and Hennessey offer amazing performance packages that can crank up Corvette performance beyond the 1,000 horsepower mark.
The mods on this Corvette are unknown, but I'd be willing to say this Corvette is far from stock. Even though the Z06 was designed for speed, 216 miles per hour is moving pretty fast considering the ZR1 maxes out around 205 miles per hour. A good modification for the Z06 is forced induction, as the V8 loves nothing more than using boost to make enormous amounts of power. Upgraded aerodynamics, intake, and exhaust are all common to the high performance Corvette builder. If you had a chance to modify a Corvette Z06, what would you choose?
