Most people that read this article will immediately think the Lamborghini is going to win. Some of us who understand the meaning behind "Chevy" already know the results. This race between a Lamborghini Gallardo and Corvette Z06 takes place on the interstate and would be considered an "illegal street race". This type of illegal street racing is very common, and as you can see both drivers appear to be veterans of this hobby. Using flashing hazard lights to signal to other drives is a great way to increase safety while street racing. The Lamborghini is an amazing piece of machinery which features only the finest Italian design and engineering. But is it enough to stand up to Detroit's muscle house C6 Corvette with the performance Z06 package? First let's take a look at the specifications.

Summary
The results of the race are pretty good! It turns out that the Corvette is the winner. The Corvette has a much larger engine and lower peak horsepower and toque ranges which allows it to be just a little bit faster. To smoke a sports car considered "super exotic" like the Lamborghini Gallardo is quite an accomplishment for the Corvette. Let it be known through out the land that the C6 Z06 is a Gallardo eater. The Gallardo can't even win on the track either. It must really suck to be a Lamborghini person reading this article! Sorry about your luck, but the war isn't over. Some tuning, performance parts, and the Lamborghini Gallardo could win a race against a completely stock C6 Z06 Corvette. But if the Corvette gets the same opportunity to modify and add performance the C6 Z06 will completely dominate. It boils down to this: "You can't substitute for cubic inch!"

The 'Vette is the better deal, but the Lambo is definitely better at turning. of course this doesn't really matter in most illegal street races because rich idiots only race on long, straight roads.

Corvette does not have a bigger engine and the only reason you see the corvette winning is because the lamborghini has distance speed corvette has take off speed. once the corvette is done taking off and goes into its settling stage the lamborghini would easily pass it and smoke it.
......um and another thing lamborghini held a title for the fastest car in the world for a very long time when has corvette ever held a title like that never!!!!!!!!
1 more thing you bias idiot i see you have the new engine with the gallardo im talking about the lamborgini with a v12 engine which is a hell of a lot bigger then what your corvette has, You gave the lamborghini the lowest standard by comparing it with a v10 if you want even a small valid argument tell about its real engine italias v12 engine shows how much you know about cars you probably copied and pasted that off of wikipedia or something

the corvette is a v8 so if lamborgini cant even compete with corvettes v8 thats a shame. if corvette came out with a v10 or v12 it would murder the lamborgini
