Corn and Pumpkin Harvest Weekend

October 12 and 13 is Corn and Pumpkin Harvest Weekend at Lake Metroparks Farmpark. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, families can enjoy all that Fall has to offer at the beautiful Farmpark. Kids can make cornhusk dolls and learn how to make cornmeal, or pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to decorate and take home. There is also a three-acre alphabet corn maze that you won't want to miss.

Come hungry and enjoy the Farmpark’s delicious Harvest Soup and apple cider. See how corn was harvested years ago using antique farm equipment. Additional activities include a hay maze, make pumpkin ice cream, and all of Farmpark’s regular daily activities.

Admission to Corn & Pumpkin Harvest Weekend is $6 for ages 12 to 59; Ages 60 and over, $5; youth 2 to 11, $4; children younger than 2 and Farmpark members are Free. Lake Metroparks Farmpark is located at 8800 Euclid Chardon Road in Kirtland. For directions and more info, visit lakemetroparks.com
