Former teen heartthrob Corey Feldman opens up about the abuse he and his late friend Corey Haim suffered as children in Hollywood in a new book called, “Coreyography: A memoir.” According to Radar Online on Oct. 21, Feldman reveals he and Haim were sexually abused by industry kingpins.
In the tell-all Feldman reportedly details his accounts with the Hollywood elite and explains he was made to believe that sexual relations between adult males and child males were normal in the business and that “it was what all the guys do.”
Feldman recalls a time when he and Haim were shooting the film “Lucas” and admits Haim was sodomized between two trailers on the set, the report says.
Feldman also talks about alleged abuse at the hands of an assistant his father hired. He added that “over a period of many years, I would begin to realize that many of the people I had surrounded myself with were monsters.”
Feldman and Haim openly discussed the abuse issues during filming on their 2007 reality show “The Two Coreys.” Haim died in 2010 of an accidental overdose in Burbank, Calif.
On parents with children wanting to be in show business, Feldman says they should think twice.
“My only advice, honestly, is to get these kids out of Hollywood and let them lead normal lives.”
