The economy is slowly improving and more people are getting back to work. The City of Coral Springs offers a program where businesses can post jobs and individuals can post resumes. So far the program has had some success. According to Coral Springs Commissioner Dan Daley, there are now more than 930 registered job seekers and more than 150 businesses seeking employees. People have also gotten jobs through the program. Daley and Tom Powers, also a member of the commission worked together to create the jobs program to encourage people, especially young people to stay in Coral Springs.
