Coral Springs develops job placement program

Coral Springs continues to develop its job placement program for local residents and businesses.

People who want jobs can apply through a city website program. They can post their resumes and tell audiences something about themselves. Employers can view the resumes and post job openings.

Coral Springs Commissioner Dan Daley, one of the developers of the website said during a recent meeting that young people seeking a job for the summer might want to apply through the website.

"This is a good way to match employers to employees. We want Coral Springs residents to work for local companies. We want our young people return to Coral Springs after they finish their education," said Daley.

So far more and more people are finding work through the program.

"I think is good that City is offering this program. It helps people who are looking for work," said Janice Powell.
