A Roswell woman allegedly had to stab her boyfriend several times in order to stop him from raping her 15-year-old daughter.
And police on Monday were asking for the public’s help in finding the wounded man who they said fled the home on foot.
Investigators have issued a warrant, charging Mr. Isaura Hernandez-Acosta, 30, with attempted rape, according to Roswell police.
Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, police responded to The Crossings at Woodbridge Apartments off Old Holcomb Bridge Way after getting a call about an attempted rape, police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Holland said.
Mr. Hernandez-Acosta tried to rape the 15 year old daughter of his girlfriend, but the girl was able to scream for help, officer Holland said.
“Her mother was able to fend off the attack by cutting and stabbing her boyfriend several times with a knife,” Officer Holland said.
The suspect, who does not have a vehicle, fled from the apartment complex on foot, she said.
Investigators believe he may show up at a hospital with multiple stab wounds.
