The brazen thief walked into the CVS store at 1944 Deer Park Ave. around 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 6 and jumped over the pharmacy counter. Cops said he grabbed the pharmacy clerk and demanded prescription pain medication.
The drug store clerk complied with the violent thief’s demands and passed over an unspecified amount of narcotics, police said. The assailant then fled in a dark-colored SUV, which was last seen heading south on Deer Park Avenue.
Detectives think the drug-craving thief struck the same store on Sept. 22.
Police said the man is described as a white male in his mid-20s. He is approximately 6-foot-2 with a thin build and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a Volcom Stone logo on the front. He was also wearing black jeans, black sneakers and Aviator sunglasses.
