Cops release sketch of suspect who exposed, fondled himself in front of 4 girls

Police are searching for a man who exposed and touched himself in front of some young girls last week in Columbia as they were heading to school.

And on Tuesday they released a composite sketch of the suspect, hoping that someone in the public will be able to identify him and help them catch him.

The sketch was done by the State Law Enforcement Division.

The incident happened about 8 a.m. Wednesday at 3121 Millwood Ave., according to Columbia police.

Four girls, ranging in age from 15 to 17 years old, told police that as they were walking to school they saw a man exposing his private parts and fondling himself, police spokeswoman Ms. Jennifer Timmons said.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, possibly between 30 and 40-years-old, Ms. Timmons said.

He was reportedly last seen wearing pajama pants and a puffy jacket with fur around the hood.

Investigators believe the man drove away in a dark colored SUV.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call crime stoppers at (888) 274-6372.
