A Florida man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly traveled to Peachtree City to have sex with a 13-year-old girl – and police said this was his third visit.

Mr. Joseph Lundstrom, 30, of Middleburg, was arrested on several charges including two counts of child molestation; two counts of sexual battery; enticing a child for indecent purposes; furnishing obscene materials to a child, and computer exploitation of a child, according to the Peachtree City police.

Investigators said they received information on Sunday of a possible child molestation, but they did not say who made the call or where the alleged incident occurred.

The responding officer determined that the suspect contacted the teen through various social media outlets, police spokesman Lt. Mark Brown said. The communication between the victim and the offender were always sexual in nature, he said.

Investigators said the suspect knew the girl was only 13-years-old.

“The offender traveled from Florida to Peachtree City and met the victim on at least two occasions where sexual contact was initiated by the offender,” Lt. Brown said. “Patrol officers set up a third meeting with the offender where he was taken into custody without further incident.”
