According to TMZ a total of four people have thus far been arrested in relation to Philip Seymour Hoffman's death. When cops arrived at the New York apartment they were looking for two dealers who apparently sold Hoffman the heroin.

Cops reportedly received the information from an informant who is involved with the heroin market in NYC. The informant also told cops that Hoffman purchased several bundles of heroin quite often from the dealer.

New York police raided the apartment after obtaining a search warrant, and two of the individuals found inside may have been dealers. However, the four of them were only arrested for the drugs that were found in the apartment.

Details are still being released on this developing story.

Hoffman's remains are reportedly still being examined by a medical examiner to determine the exact cause of his death. Authorities believe Hoffman overdosed on what could have been several bags of heroin.
