Copper Mountain’s summer season starts Friday

Copper Mountain opens for the summer on Friday, June 13 with American Eagle scenic chairlift rides, diggler rentals, go-kart track, bumper boats and paddle boat rentals, bungee jump, climbing wall, mini golf, Alpine Rush Zip Line, and more, located all in Copper’s Center Village.

Copper’s Summer Activity Passes are $44 for an unlimited access day pass and $74 for unlimited season pass. Copper’s Summer Activities will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Fridays at Copper include free music, free movies, and free activities: spend $40 in the Villages’ restaurants and shops to receive free tickets to one of each of Copper’s village activities. Parking is complimentary resort-wide throughout the summer season.
Woodward at Copper Summer Camp and Summer Barn hours kick off on Saturday, June 14. New this season campers will get faster, easier laps on a new surface lift in Central Park and experience more airtime on a new BagJump NIP.

The Woodward at Copper Barn opens for public sessions on Saturday, June 14 then every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer. The Summer Pavilion Park, located in Center Village, filled with more than ten creative terrain park features, will open every Saturday starting June 21, as weather allows. Copper Mountain says that Powdr Shot, June 21, is the first-ever nationwide summer biathlon series that combines trail running, mountain biking and air rifle target range. Race proceeds go toward maintaining clean, healthy forests. For more information and to register, visit

Copper’s Gone to the Dogs, June 28, welcomes all dogs and their humans to this inaugural 5K/ 10K race and dog-centered expo at Copper Mountain, including a full day of Copper Mountain Ski Patrol Avalanche Dog Demos, dock diving lessons, off leash play area, local dog expo and live music by Mike “WOOFard” Woodard.
