With almost a foot of fresh snow reported at Copper Mountain  in the past week, the resort plans to open new terrain for the coming weekend.  On Friday, November 20, Copper's American Flyer Lift will open for the season with skiing and riding on High Point and Loverly trails. Once this additional terrain opens, Copper will have 5 lifts in operation with 8 trails and 130 acres.

Copper's new 22-foot superpipe will be opening soon and will make its national TV debut during the USSA Grand Prix, December 10-12, when top snowboarders from around the globe will vie for coveted Olympic Halfpipe spots.  Watch the first Grand Prix stop at Copper on NBC Sunday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

Copper Mountain is hosting fall race camps, welcoming ski and snowboard race teams from around the country and the globe, including the men's and women's U.S. Alpine Ski Teams while they ready themselves for the upcoming World Cup and Olympic season.
