The Copper Art Museum in Clarkdale, Arizona opened on December 1st and features what man created with the metal copper. Copper is very important to Arizona and is a staple in Southwest design. Copper top tables, copper wall decor and copper elements on homes are very common in the Southwest.
In the museum, there are six distinct rooms showcasing copper: Information Room, Military Art Room, Art & Architecture Room, Kitchenware Collection, Drinkware Collection, and the Distillery & Brewery. The museum is a private entity which grew out of an antiques business and a love of copper.
Open every day from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
Fees: Adults - $10, Youth (10-17) - $6, Children (5-9) - $1, Seniors (60+) - $8, Veterans & Students - $8 (with proper ID). Group pricing and docent led tours are also available. Docents work on tip-basis.
