Cooler with increasing clouds as upper level disturbance arrives late in the day (Photos)

Cooler weather will return to the region today, but an upper level disturbance will approach late this afternoon with increasing clouds and scattered rain and snow showers, or perhaps even some graupel. It will remain a bit blustery and chilly to close out the workweek with a clipper system forecast to arrive for the weekend.

Tonight – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers in the evening, then a chance of snow showers. Low 23-27. Winds west between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.
