High pressure will build across the eastern Great Lakes through mid week. This will bring northwestern Pennsylvania a few days of quiet, uneventful weather.
Today will be mainly cloudy as residual moisture and a flow off Lake Erie remain intact. Highs today will be in the low to mid 30s.
Tonight, clouds will hold tough through this evening, but some partial clearing is expected late tonight. Lows will fall to around 20 degrees.
Tuesday will be partly to mostly sunny and seasonably cool with highs around 30 degrees.
Tuesday night will feature mostly clear to partly cloudy skies and lows around 20 degrees.
Wednesday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the low 30s.
A cold front will move from the northern Plains states on Wednesday, southeastward through the Great Lake Wednesday night and across northwestern Pennsylvania on Thursday. Clouds will increase Wednesday evening with snow showers possible after midnight Wednesday night. Lows will dip into the mid 20s.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy with snow showers likely. Highs will reach the upper 20s to around 30 degrees.
The snow showers will end Thursday night as the cold front moves well to our east and high pressure builds back across the area. Sunshine is expected for Friday with high temperatures climbing to around 30 degrees.
