We reached 76 at Philly International Airport at 9:11am! We cooled down quickly as a backdoor cold front pushed through shortly thereafter and reached our low of 64 at 11:36am before jumping back to the lower 70s by the afternoon.

A warm front is spiltting the region in half, but to the south of that front are severe thunderstorms(that will NOT affect us)

Our low overnight will be in the upper 50s(so our new low will be achieved a 11:59pm) with a mostly cloudy sky, but rain stays to our west. It will be mostly cloudy on Wednesday, but we should stay on the milder side of the backdoor cold front as we will be in the lower 70s, but 10 miles east in Jersey it will only be in the 60s! Talk about close!

Overnight Wednesday we'll be mostly clear with lows in the middle and upper 60s as that front pushes northward again and so Thursday will be sunny with highs in the lower 80s. We're just around 70 on Friday with rain heavy at times as a potent cold front pushes through and pushes in plenty of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. Saturday's dry with highs in the middle 70s, but then that front just offshore retrogrades toward the coast Sunday afternoon.

So that's it for now and be sure to check out the rest of the 7-day forecast(any time) at www.scottderekwx.com/forecast.html.
