Cool Start to Memorial Day Weekend

The Memorial Day Weekend is what most of us think of as the start of the Summer Season. Many in the Baltimore area will head for the beaches! Well, after a few days spent with temps in the Upper 80s and dew points near 70 this week, it probably seems like a good idea this year. If you’re a Summer weather fan, it’s been nice! The average high temp this time of the year is in the Mid 70s. Well, just like most of this Spring, things are going to swing in the other direction over the weekend. A strong cold front is expected to move through Maryland at the end of the week, and drop the high temps into the 60s on Friday & Saturday! In the Baltimore Metro Area, the morning lows might even dip into the 40s. It will not be much warmer at the DelMarVa Beaches. The good news is that, after a few showers on Friday, most of the Holiday Weekend will be dry. Temps will likely rebound back into the 70s again by Sunday & Monday. Either way, have a great start to Summer!
