My five year old is starting kindergarten in September and I can’t believe how time flies! I feel like the summer just flew by and it’s almost time to start shopping for school clothes and supplies. Some people have their back-to-school shopping done already! I’m patiently awaiting the school supply letter to be mailed, so I know what to buy. For those that have not started their back-to-school shopping yet, I compiled a list of some ideas to help you get started.

Toys“R”Us
Toys“R”Us has tons of Back-to-School gear for the kids and they have a pretty cool backpack and lunch kit promotion going on right now. With more than 100 backpacks and lunch kits to choose from Disney Frozen, Despicable Me, TMNT, Monster High, My Little Pony and more, Toys“R”Us is offering a FREE Lunch Kit valued at $9.99 with the purchase of ANY backpack priced at $12.99 or higher, in-store and online at Toysrus.com. Toys“R”Us is the leading destination for kids’ educational products all year round – whether preparing a child for a new grade level or instilling Math, Reading and Science skills throughout the school year, parents will find a broad assortment of items, including flashcards, spelling puzzles, science projects, games and more, to help make learning and fun the keys to success. Check out this Alphabet & Numbers Foam Puzzle Mat from Imaginarium for $19.99.

Sesame Street Talking ABC Elmo
Playskool has so many fantastic pre-school aged toys and this new Sesame Street Talking ABC Elmo is great for little kids starting to learn their letters. Simply press Elmo’s tummy to hear him talk and sing the alphabet song! Sesame Street Talking ABC Elmo is available at Toys R Us for $19.99 and requires two AA batteries.

Skechers
As far as school wardrobe is concerned, you need to have a new pair of cool kicks to start the year off! Little girls and big girls alike love Twinkle Toes from Skechers! It’s easy to see why. They are full of bling, color and most importantly lights! Since these sneakers feature so many colors, they pretty much can go with any outfit. This is great news for parents since you won’t have to keep running out trying to find shoes that go with all your daughter’s outfits. The last pair of Twinkle Toes my daughter had, she wore them to death. She got so much use out of them. For this season, we love the Glamarazzi style in black but it also comes in white.

Crayola
From staple items such as crayons to their new markers, a back-to-school supply list is not complete without something from Crayola. Some supply lists require dry erase markers and Crayola just launched the Visi-Max Dry Erase Markers. These new and innovative dry erase markers feature improved color vibrancy, which helps maximize classroom visability as they are easier to read from on a whiteboard. The Visi-Max dry erase markers are available in 8 colors and are easy to erase, have low odor and have a durable, improved wide chisel tip. The Visi-Max Dry Erase markers are available for purchase on www.Crayola.com. The 4 count pack is $4.99 and the 8 count pack is $9.99. You’ll never be at a loss for a crayon color with the Ultimate Crayon Collection, which features 152 colors in a multi-tiered, four-sided case. This fabulous crayon collection also includes glitter and metallic crayons. It retails for $14.99 at www.Walmart.com.

Thermos
When you start elementary school it’s not like pre-school where the teachers heated up your lunch and had refrigerators to keep your food cold, so what do you do? This is where Thermos comes in. They have amazing products in order for kids to keep their lunch hot or cold. Thermos lunch kits are all insulated to keep food cold and feature some of today’s most popular characters from My Little Pony, Spider-Man, Hello Kitty, Batman and more. My Little Pony is a big hit in my house and my daughter can't wait to tote around the Friendship is Magic lunch kit. The FUNtainer’s are great because they feature Thermos® vacuum-insulation technology, which keeps food hot for 5 hours and cold for 7 hours. The FUNtainer’s have an extra-wide mouth that is easy to fill, eat from and clean.

Nickelodeon
Go back-to-school with your favorite Nick stars including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, Sam & Cat, and so many more. TMNT fans will love these 3-D bookmarks featuring Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo ad Leonardo. Each bookmark has a turtle with the TMNT logo and his name in the background. In addition to these really cool bookmarks, kids can also choose from themed pencil cases, notebooks, pencils, pencil sharpeners, pens, erasers, and folders. The other themed school supplies can be found at Staples and www.staples.com.

Epson
One thing I know from my daughter being in a daycare/ pre-school is how important it is to label everything!! I can’t tell you how many times I found other kids belonging in my daughter’s backpack and vice versa. Epson came out with this new innovative label maker called LabelWorks™ Iron-on Kit. It’s so easy to use. I can print names, initials, and symbols directly onto Epson’s iron-on labels, which can be easily added to clothing, backpacks or any other fabric. I love how durable the labels are and the fact the labels are machine-washable. The kit includes includes the LW-300, a portable battery-powered handheld label printer, and two iron-on tape cartridges in a convenient carrying case. The LabelWorks™ Iron-on Kit retails for $69.99 and is available on www.Epson.com.
