Make your own hand-blown art
Sunday, February 14, 2010
Noon- 4 p.m.
Cost: $25 for a flower, $35 for a heart
What could be cooler than creating your own hand-blown art-glass flower or heart for your sweetie on Valentine’s Day? This Valentine’s Day activity can be enjoyed by the whole family, or just parents.

You choose your color scheme, apply the color to the molten glass, and (for those aged 16 or older) place your project in the furnace. A skilled artist will help you along and complete the final sculpting stages. All glass creations must be allowed to cool before they can be taken home (usually the next day). Visit Vetro Glassblowing Studio and Art Glass Gallery or call 817-251-1668 for more details.
