Despite the tomato blight that's been ravaging fields across New England, many farms and farmers markets in the Boston area do still have tomatoes to sell. Recently, Kitchen Arts, a "kitchen hardware store" on Newbury Street, invited me to demonstrate two simple and delicious dishes to make with these wonderful summer fruits, bruschetta and gazpacho. Along the way, Owen, the store's owner, gave me some useful tips.
