Cookbook features DCSS employees

The Department of Human Services’ Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) has created a cookbook, “Favorites from our Table,” which is now on sale. This hardback book is just $15 and all proceeds go to the State Charitable Contributions Campaign.

“This was a great idea and the end product is top of the line,” said DCSS employee Kim Scott. “I am impressed with the high quality. As I browsed through the recipes, it dawned on me that many of our former employees, either retired or deceased, have recipes in the book. For me, it will be sentimental, not to mention that we have fabulous cooks within DCSS.”

More than 200 current and former DCSS employees contributed 443 of their favorite recipes to the cookbook. There is a variety of recipes, including many easy dishes that can be made quickly for dinner after work.

“With so many good Southern cooks in DCSS around the state, it seemed like a natural project,” said DCSS employee Gary Driggers, who is coordinating the effort.

To order your copy of the DCSS cookbook, contact Gary at rgdrigge@dhr.state.ga.us or call 404-657-3853.
