Coogie's Beach Cafe

Chipotle burger served with sweet potato fries.

For those looking for something special on PCH, do not be fooled by their menu for Coogie’s Beach Cafe is essentially diner food-soup, salads, burgers, and dinner entrees composed of meat, seafood, and pasta-enhanced with an attractively spacious interior, its proximity to the ocean, and its occasional famous clientele. Coogie’s Beach Café is Malibu’s version of Dennis; its breakfast, lunch, and dinner involve slightly more sophisticated methods of preparation and presentation as well as a greater selection and hence the option of upgrading to sweet potato fries.

Similar to the Cheesecake Factory, perhaps the only thing at Coogie’s worth singing about is their dinner bread-warm crispy buttery rolls. If you leave these on a napkin, the fat will seep through the paper, a good-albeit unscientific-indicator of tasty pastry.

Lastly, for the record, their website claims they serve ‘all natural’ chicken.
