Finally, there are some answers. Oh goodness, where to begin? It is fantastic that we actually get to see some of what Brad is seeing when he gets these flashes. He has mentioned that he gets them, but we never really get to see what he does. This helps shed some light on Brad and Curtis’ mission. Okay, so correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like killing Kiera was not their intention. She sorta just got in the way.
There are still many questions about Curtis and Brad’s mission. We learn that Brad came back because of the war that is raging his future, 2039. Side note: I'm going to need to see more of Kellog in this future. Honestly, I'm still not sure how that connects to Curtis. We don’t know how Curtis cheated death or if he came back with Brad or how Brad knew to go to Curtis. This would have been a good episode to reveal more about Curtis and his agenda, but at least we get Kiera's murder wrapped up. Do you have any Curtis theories given all this new information?
Things are going great for Present!Alec on the Halo front. There's just one tiny problem. Some of the beta testers, including Jason, go a little crazy and violent while on Halo. Actually, it's not clear if this happens while they are on Halo or just when they take it off. Present!Alec does open up and say that maybe he has pushed so hard because of the pressure of his father’s legacy. It is great to have this moment while he is talking to Jason, and even Present!Alec touches on the fact that he is trying to be a better dad.
There are so many great things about the Liber8 scenes. It seems like forever since they have all been in a room together, Kiera included. Watching their dynamic is so entertaining. We really see the fractures within the Liber8 system. After Brad shares what he knows, we see Sonya be overjoyed, but no one else truly is. I look forward to seeing where everyone goes after this because none of them seem to have an idea of what to do. This is definitely a changing point for Liber8. Did anyone else just love having everyone all together?
