Dillon: “Agent Cameron, are cops assholes?”
Kiera: “Sometimes, sir.”

Dillon and Kiera are partners for an episode, which is strange. The shakeup is great because we rarely see Dillon outside of his office. Now we see how Dillon operates. He is Liber8 crazy. Seriously, he pins anything and everything on them. It comes off a little much, until the twist at the end where there is the possibility that Dillon knew of the Sonmanto deal. While I hope Dillon isn't involved, it does make sense as to why he is so focused on Liber8. Which situation would you prefer: Dillon being aware of Sonmanto's attack or Dillon having tunnel vision when it comes to Liber8?
Guess what, still no news on why Curtis shot Kiera. This will never cease to annoy me. Curtis is making some strange moves. He goes to Kellog for assistance. One thing that I thought might happen is Curtis going back to Liber8, but Kellog hasn't been Liber8 for a while. The writers do mention that it is the same Curtis that Kellog set up, and that Curtis somehow figured out how to cheat death. There is definitely intrigue, but the writers have to start giving some answers. Any theories on why Curtis reached out to Kellog?
The businesses keep on getting more and more diabolical. Big business doesn't act that way in the real world, right? Let's not focus on that. The writers are nice enough to concentrate on companies that we have already met before. It would be confusing if every episode a new company popped up. Sonmanto killing Fermitas employees all for a sale is terrifying. This definitely starts to make Carlos and Kiera (and the viewers) aware of the danger that Liber8 has been saying big business poses all along. We aren't just being warned about them. We are seeing how evil they are.
Betty and Kiera bonded hardcore, and it was amazing. We sort of learn how she got mixed up with Liber8, although it isn't too clear. She started out undercover, it sounds like. It would have been great to hear her explain things a little longer, but knowing a something is better than never knowing. It's disappointing that we don't get to see this new stage of Betty working closer with Kiera and Carlos because it could have been interesting. Her death will definitely change things for Kiera and Carlos, maybe even align them more with Liber8.
What did you think of the episode? Did anyone else love Garza and Kiera's little chat? They have an interesting dynamic. Leave me your thoughts in a comment below.
