International Contemporary Christian artist Nicois (pronounced Neh'-quois) is gearing up for the premiere of her cutting edge music video, “Digital World.” The music video screening will take place this Saturday, March 23 at Harvest Assembly Baptist Church (8008 Fordson Road, Alexandria, VA) at 6 p.m. The screening is free.
Joining Nicois for the special screening and concert will be J Kee and Shift and award-winning artists CD Porter and Theresa Pinkney. Spoken word artist Deshae Leggett is the event's special guest.
“Digital World” is featured on Nicois’ third album, "Un-di-in-a-bel (Undeniable), an 11-track collection of songs released in May 2012. The song addresses our increasing reliance on technology that has, in many instances, led to a decrease in human interaction. “Digital World” promotes a return to genuine, face to face communication, and encourages a personal relationship with God.
“As much as we love to text, chat, tweet, and email people all over the world, we will continue to starve for and seek attention that can only be filled with an intimate relationship with God, and face to face interaction with one another,” says Nicois.
The video captures the essence of Nicois’ ministry that she has based strictly on the word of God with the goal of encouraging the nations to engage in conversations with God about their purpose, prosperity, and destiny.
The gifted singer-songwriter is looking forward to the video’s release, “I'm excited about this video because it's definitely a stepping stone for NicoisMUSIC. The video was produced by Jackie and Nicois Harris and Off the Wire Studios and recorded at Common Grounds Café in Woodbridge, Va. Award-winning singer Theresa Pinkney is also featured in the video. With a high-caliber production team, gifted vocalists and a fifty-member cast, “Digital World’ will certainly capture the hearts of viewers.
