A new project is underway in Cherry Creek North that will bring an estimated 750 construction jobs to the area. At a groundbreaking ceremony today marked the start of the 100 million dollar project at 250 Columbine. The eight story mixed use building includes an office building, 70 luxury condominiums and 30,000 square feet of high end retail space that are already fully leased. The complex takes up half the block between Columbine & Clayon and also includes an underground parking garage. Construction is slated to be completed in the first quarter of 2015.

This is the first project of its kind to break ground in the Cherry Creek area and is expected to drive the economy. Western Development Group is also the company behind the NorthCreek residential and retail development which was completed in 2008.
