Constitutionalists are not the haters

Bob Unruh at WorldNetDaily has an important new article that further exposes the deliberate smearing of Constitutionalists by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

[Their] new warning, delivered recently to police officers, sheriffs and other law enforcement personnel across the country, is lumping those dedicated to the constitutional principles on which the nation was founded together with crazed killers.

SPLC is spreading not only a damnable and insulting lie, but actually creating a dangerous environment, one that chills free speech and political activism. If that doesn't qualify for the term "un-American," nothing does.

It's part of a wider effort, one of the oldest dirty political tricks really: fling mud and count on something sticking--particularly in the minds of the the uninformed and those predisposed to subordinate our freedom to the state. It's used by people counting on ignorance and prejudice to enable achievement of their ends.

It's the stuff that makes bigotry work.

Mike Vanderboegh explains:

The SPLC 'are conflation experts,' he told WND. "They have a pot and they throw everyone in it in an attempt to tar the rest of us with the racists and terrorists they throw in there."

And Unruh cites a Gun Rights Examiner article that explained how the Oath Keepers movement is being smeared:

A column by gun rights author David Codrea said, "SPLC's Larry Keller asserts they are 'particularly worrisome.' A fair question might be 'why' or 'to whom?' It's not like they're associated with anything other than patriotism, in spite of his attempts to insinuate racist ties."

The best antidote for lies is the truth. Go read Unruh's report. And help get the facts out by sharing them with others.

How is it that they can get the word out to law enforcement and we can't? Who died and left them in charge of LE propaganda? I think our side needs to step it up with letters to LE and editors and anyone we can think of.

    I Love It!!

The SPLC has REALLY shown their ass this time.

And the beauty of it is that it is being reported by WND, who reach many more people that really need to hear the truth about what is REALLY happening in our country.

And a big hat tip to Mike V and David for their comments in the article.

As for the list of opinions and/or beliefs of people that they say pose potential terrorist threats.....

My GOD!! I fit into all of them!

    BWWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

"They hate us for our freedom"

No in this case they really, really do...

The Bill of Rights as a whole is seen as an obstacle to people like these. This is to say that to accept some - but no all - of the Freedoms recognized, is an attack on our Freedoms as a whole never-the-less.

Its truly amazing how people who can otherwise be considered quite intelligent (or at least to have had ample time being educated, and thus have had the opportunity to be - whether or not it was a squandered opportunity), can maneuver themselves into being an obstacle themselves to the very same set of Rights they claim to protect.

Makes one question whether any of the idiots have ever bothered to read the Constitution they profess to defend.

Funny that you should mention the race-baiters at the Southern Poverty Law Center. I wrote a piece on that group of sanctimonious liars this morning.

  • The_Chef 2 years ago

The funny thing is the listed groups in that SPLC piece:
    * Oppose abortion (NO)
    * Are returning veterans (NOT A VETERAN)
    * Oppose same-sex marriage (NO)
    * Oppose restrictions on firearms (YES)
    * Oppose lax immigration laws (NO)
    * Oppose the policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship, and the expansion of social programs (DEPENDS)
    * Oppose continuation of free trade agreements (NO)
    * Are suspect of foreign regimes (YES)
    * Fear Communist regimes (DESPISE IS A BETTER WORD)
    * Oppose a "one world" government (HOW ABOUT ONE WORLD LACK OF GOVERNMENT?)
    * Bemoan the decline of U.S. stature in the world (NOT REALLY)
    * Are upset with loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to China and India, and more (NOPE)

Funny, true libertarians don't really fall into that many of those categories.

Maybe "we" the freedom-loving peoples of the U.S should start using their own game against them. Conflate the SPLC, SocLib Dems and the like, and start calling them all "Communists." We have a lot more ammunition of truth to support that little name-calling gem, then they have of calling us "racists."

    To paraphrase:
Arguing with an educated conservative is like mud-wrestling with a pig. You both get dirty, but the pig loves it.
It's time to quit being polite and nice, and get DIRTY!!

The SPLC are dangerous frauds and conmen. Their smears cover half the American population but the 'mainstream' media seems to miss this fact.

Search for "Georgia Heritage Council SPLC" to find much more including links, commentary and parody.

The truth is finally reaching more people.

I am glad people are finally beginning to see what groups like the SPLC are about. For far too long they have been praised as some civil rights organization. They are anti white cultural marxists. Bagel Boy it is funny you bring up the line "they hate us for our freedom." This could not be more true. The notion that muslims hate us for our freedoms is an insult to our intelligence. It is these groups who work to take away our freedoms from within. In my mind that makes them more dangerous that any foreign enemies.

  • krisrin 2 years ago

I also want to bring up that in addition to working to take away our freedoms, they also aid and abet an illegal invasion of this country by smearing and demonizing any native citizen or organization that speaks out against illegal immigration. In all honesty if it were up to me they should be tried for treason.

  • Thirdpower 2 years ago

It's all one big circle jerk. The SPLC article references the DHS "Right Wing Extremist" Report which was heavily using the SPLC and ADL as its sources of information. The Domestic Terrorist 'report' from MO also referenced the ADL/SPLC and just happened to come from a DHS 'fusion center'.

  • madashell 2 years ago

The SPLC is a foreign intelligent’s operation and their purpose is to undermine our culture and destroy the USA.

Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue was awarded over 1 million dollars by the government for the death of his brother at the hands of the government after the OK bombing.

Trentadue discovered through the process of discloser that the SPLC ran the white supremacist compound that the FBI claimed was involved in the bombing.

Trentadue also discovered that the FBI ran the OK bombing through their informants and actually changed the time and place of the bombing to the Murah building .

Even McVeigh was being handled by an FBI agent

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a joke. I caught them labeling anti-illegal immigration groups in Maryland as "hate groups" for no good reason and with no evidence. When I contacted them and asked for proof, they didn't give me any.
