Tomorrow evening, July 8, 2014, Tom Regnier, a libertarian lawyer and law professor will speak on the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. After South Floridians celebrated July 4th (Independence Day) this past weekend, Regnier will offer an education as to how we went from a country of freedoms to a country near tyranny.

Regnier will attempt to dispell myths and educate those who attend his "What's Wrong with the Constitution?" speech tomorrow evening at the Filling Station and Garage Bar in Miami, Florida. Regnier will tackle subjects such as whether ObamaCare is truly constitutional, issues concerning the 9th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, if the Constitution guarantees a right to privacy, a right to economic freedom and more. He also may surprise some regarding his opinion on 'judicial activism'.

Educated at Columbia Law School and the University of Miami School of Law, Regnier is now a professor at the University of Miami School of Law and an attorney for a Hollywood, Florida law firm. He is also has been adept at combining Shakespeare with the law.

The U.S. Constitution has been in the news recently as U.S. Supreme Court has recently handed down several decisions last week dealing with issues such as how the closely-held company, Hobby Lobby deals with ObamaCare; digital privacy rights and law enforcement; their decision the private company Aereo, Inc. is operating illegally; and the National Labor Relations Board. No doubt, Regnier will bring some of these recent Supreme Court opinions up during his talk tomorrow evening.
