Constant Reader Books - local bookstore review

Constant Reader Books is a locally owned used book store located at 1615 Logan Ave., Cheyenne, WY, a block from Alta Vista Elementary School. The store appears small from the outside, but is actually a decent size as it makes up for its lack of width with length.

The bookstore has a variety of used books, mostly fiction, sold for half the cover price. It is a little difficult to navigate around the store because the signs describing what genre each shelf carries are incredibly small, approximately three inches wide and a half an inch in length. The signs are all situated at the top of the shelves, which alleviates some of the difficulty navigating the store.

As for finding the book you’re looking for, the store is well organized with the books being in alphabetical order by the author’s name. One of the other benefits of Constant Reader Books is that they not only possess used books, but they have a wide selection of role-playing books and games such as Magic the Gathering for sell. In addition to their selection, they have a policy that if you are looking for a book and it isn’t available they will order it new for you and sell it to you at a 20% discount.

The only problem with Constant Reader Books is the hours. The store is closed on Sundays and only open from the hours of 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Monday through Saturday. These hours aren’t conducive for most people who work from 8:00 A.M. or 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

All-in-all, if the hours aren’t an issue for you, Constant Reader Books is an excellent choice for your bookstore and or gaming needs.
