Conspiracy spoilers: Green-white benefactor legend from Vintage Masters

Returned from the hat shop, one would think.

It's technically Vintage Masters preview week right now, but there are some Conspiracy spoilers slipping in, since some cards from that set will be in the Magic Online reprint set. Among them: The Elvish tracker previewed by Nik Davidson in today's Fiora-themed Uncharted Realms.

Selvala, Explorer Returned 1GW

Legendary Creature - Elf Scout (Rare)

Parley - Tap: Each player reveals the top card of his or her library. For each nonland card revealed this way, add G to your mana pool and you gain 1 life. Then each player draws a card.

"The Lowlands refuse to suffer at the whims of the High City."

A few things to note first: We are officially on Fiora; and we now know one of the other keywords of Conspiracy, which, like will of the council, allows every player to get involved. Presumably parley will simply be a rider for "Each player reveals the top card of his or her library," which then checks for a quality, then has everyone draw.

As for Selvala herself, she has an impressive body as a 2/4 for three mana, which makes her useful in combat despite her even stronger activated ability. In a duel, she doesn't net you any card advantage since the draw is symmetrical and can at most get you a - not bad - GG and 2 life - but in a large multiplayer game like Conspiracy is meant to support (or Commander!) she can grant amounts of resources that swing games. For maximum fun, she can be combined with Wand of Denial and artifact untapping to fix everyone's draws.

What do you think of this fat-toughnessed legendary mana dork? Let me know in the comments.
