Just 4 Kids Consignment is back in Maple Shade Aug. 19-21 for the Fall/Winter Sale, and families wishing to sell their new and gently used items have three weeks left to register their items for the sale.
For a $10 registration fee, families can get rid of that stuff the kids barely used and are just taking up space. Consignors earn at least 65% on what they sell, and they can set their own prices. The store has a 1/2 off sale on Sunday of the sale, but consignors can even choose if they want their items included.
All consignors have to do is register and prepare their items, then drop them off on set up day, Wednesday, Aug. 17. Volunteers at the store do the rest. Families consigning can even check the progress of their items through the store's website, since each consignor has a personal barcode. Anything left over once the doors are closed on Sunday will be donated, or families can designate items they'd like to pick up instead.
Just 4 Kids sends checks to consignors by the end of the week following the sale.
Toys, books and baby gear are the most popular selling items, according to their website, but clothing for preemies to teens can also be submitted. The only limits are 100 hanging pieces of kids clothing, 10 pieces of maternity and 10 pairs of shoes.
Consignors and their family members can earn more money on their items by volunteering. By signing up for 12 hours of work, families earn 75% instead of 65% on their goods. Signing up for 8 hours still earns families an increase with 70% earnings. Signing up for 4 hours only earns families the priviledge of shopping Thursday and Sunday's pre-sale, while signing up for 2 hours only earns families the ability to shop Thursday's pre-sale. (Both 8- and 12-hour volunteer also get to shop both pre-sales.)
Volunteers can do any number of jobs from set up to helping at check-out. Anyone in the family can represent the consignor as a volunteer. Babysitting opportunities

Just 4 Kids will be at 119 Kings Hwy in Maple Shade, as they have been for the past 5 sales. It is in the same shopping center as Little Sport and Creative Playthings. Sale hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19 and Saturday, Aug. 20, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21.
