Consigning artists wanted for museum gift shop

Local artists are invited to sell their work at the gift shop in the Pensacola Museum of Art. The museum is holding a call to artists day this Saturday, April 6, for anyone interested in becoming a consignment artist in the Museum store.

The store is getting a facelift, and is looking forward to re-establishing its reputation for being the best place to find unique, and beautifully handcrafted art and gifts. It will be a great opportunity for artists to introduce their work to the Pensacola area, and to tourists who visit the Museum.

All mediums are welcomed, including emerging artists and contemporary work. Artists must demonstrate a high level of creativity and craftsmanship. If you would like to submit your work for consideration please do one of the following:

Bring a few samples of your work to the PMA on Saturday, April 6, 11:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Be prepared to leave samples along with a brief artist statement along with your address and contact information, a price list, and a listing of other galleries or shops where your work is exhibited or sold.

or

Send digital pictures along with contact information and prices to
