In the search for your next great position, you may encounter some very harsh but ever present realities, aka bills. Bills are things that, as everyone knows, usually require monthly payments and this can prove to be hard if you have not landed that dream job, or any other job, yet. So in order to stay afloat, but still have the ability to search and actively interview, you may want to consider part time and/or temporary employment to help meet your needs. Please understand that these types of positions often are low paying and do not offer healthcare benefits, but may be just the right “filler” until you can be employed in a regular, full-time position. These positions are usually more readily available and provide some added flexibility that permanent positions do not. Remember, as with most things, these positions may require compromise on your part, open-mindedness and a willingness to travel outside of your preferred zip code, but with our current economy, compromise is truly the name of the game. Above all else, put things into perspective, these part-time and or temporary placements may assist in moving you that much closer to your next great position and certainly will help you meet those every increasing monthly requirements. Stay encouraged!
