Brides and grooms are celebrating the weddings they've planned, and there are definitely considerations for a winter wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado that are unique to the mountain environments.

One is the extra time and efforts that goes into a winter wedding, and that includes transportation. More than once this winter the roads have closed or have been extremely slow going. So, if you're working with vendors that don't live in the mountains, it would be good to ask what their travel plans are.

Simply put, the weekends are busy in the mountains. You have skier traffic heading into the hills starting early Friday and traffic peaks between 4 PM and 7 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
