Labor Day Weekend is here which for many signals the end of summer. Picnics and pool parties are popular ways to celebrate the break from our labors, but if you are looking for a healthier way to celebrate the holiday, consider a Labor Day hike to get your blood pumping.
If you live in the Nashville area, there are a variety of great Labor Day hiking options to choose from.
Nashville Hiking Meetup has several Labor Day hikes planned including a Labor Day Hike at Peeler Park from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM; a Radnor Lake Hike 9/2 Labor Day at 5:30 PM; and an Entry Level Labor Day Beginner's Hike, Dog Walk, Picnic at Bellevue Red Caboose Park with brown-bag picnic at 6:30 PM and hike starting around 6:45.
Tennessee Hiking Meetup lists an Urban Hike II - 5 mile Night Walk Through Nashville's West End at 6:30 PM for their Labor Day offering.
